These days state employees must to do more with less. State agency budgets are smaller and staff numbers are shrinking, but demand continues to grow. The State Library wants state agencies to know more about the host of free services offered to New Mexico state employees. Try our services and let us know how it works for you.
Dr. Estevan Rael-Gálvez, then Executive Director of the National Hispanic Cultural Center, working with the Southwest Colleciton at the State Library, shares his thoughts: "A library is a collection of knowledge and memory. Above all it holds a promise of creating openings for its readers. The staff at the New Mexico State Library are deeply committed to this indelible promise and to the invitation to pull back the pages for what is not yet known."
