2014 GO BONDS for PUBLIC and TRIBAL PUBLIC LIBRARIES

SB 53, the "2014 Capital Projects General Obligation Bond Act" was approved by the 2014 New Mexico Legislature and approved by the voters in the November, 2014 General Election.
Language from the law [SFC/SB 53, Page 33]:
B. for library acquisitions at public libraries...
(1) to the cultural affairs department:
(a) three million dollars ($3,000,000)for equipment and supplemental library resource acquisitions,including print, non-print and electronic resources, for non-tribal public libraries statewide; and
(b) eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) for equipment and supplemental library resource acquisitions, including print, non-print and electronic resources, at tribal libraries statewide
ALLOCATIONS
- Allocations are based on the NMAC 4.5.8 , Census Information and library eligibility.

GO Bond important dates:
April 1, 2018 – last day for 2014 GO bond reimbursement requests to be received by the State Library
Forms to be used for reimbursement requests:
Exhibit 1 - 2014 Paper Periodic/Final Report (word document) -- to be included with each request for reimbursement
Exhibit 2 - 2014 Request for Payment Form (excel format) -- to be included with each request for reimbursement; must include documentation for purchases and proof-of-payment
Forms must be signed and be an original copy.
