New Mexico State Library

The New Mexico State Library collections include New Mexico history and culture, Federal and state government documents.

State government employees and members of the public can visit the State Library and use the library’s resources.  The library research room and reference desk is open from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.   

Assistance in locating materials and using both paper and online resources can be obtained by contacting reference services.

Check for holdings in the State Library’s online catalog. Many of the library’s holdings are not included in the online catalog.  If you cannot find what you are looking for, contact a reference librarian by using Ask-a-Librarian or call 505-476-9702.
