Magazines Online contains a variety of general and subject-specific databases for the public and for college-level students, databases for the grades K-12, and business databases.

Adult level databases:

  • Expanded Academic ASAP Contains scholarly journals, news magazines, and newspapers from arts and the humanities to social sciences, science and technology.
  • General Reference Center Gold Focuses on current events, popular culture, business and industry trends, the arts and sciences, sports, hobbies, etc.
  • General Business File ASAP Broker research reports, trade publications, newspapers, journals and company directory listings as well as company performance and activity, industry events and trends, management, economics and politics.
  • Business and Company ASAP Information on companies, markets and industries, including market trends, mergers and acquisitions, current management theory and company overviews. Business and trade journals, newspapers, and company directory profiles with full text and images.

Special or subject databases:

  • InfoTrac Professional Collection Full Text Magazines for Education Professionals.
  • Infotrac Custom Journals Full-text of the New York Times and The Financial Times.
  • Informe Una colección de revistas hispánicas con textos completos. Abarca negocios, salud, tecnologí­a, cultura, temas de actualidad y otras materias.
  • Computer Database Computer-related product introductions, news and reviews in areas such as hardware, software, electronics, engineering, communications and the application of technology.

K-12 level databases:

  • Student Edition For high-school students with access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports, etc.
  • Junior Edition For students in junior high and middle school with access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports, etc.
  • Gale Virtual Reference Library Encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.
