Bookmobile West Current Schedule

Update 7/29/21 - Be advised: In August, the bookmobile staff will continue to deliver library services in a state vehicle, not the bookmobile. A collection of books, movies, DVDs, and magazines will be available. We will also have coloring books, museum kits, and Tails and Tales summer reading goodie bags to give away in August and September.

  • One family or two people will be allowed on board at a time. If possible, place your requests in advance to help us reach everyone who wants to use bookmobile services.
  • The bookmobile is not accepting donations currently.

Temporary Books-By-Mail

Bookmobile West will send books by mail from our collection to bookmobile patrons. View the online catalog at Place a hold on items you would like to receive and a staff member will contact you to confirm and send your items. Contact the bookmobile office for assistance to log in to the catalog.

Career Online High School

Career Online High School is a new educational service offered by the Rural Services Program of the New Mexico State Library.  The program offers adults (19 plus years of age) the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and entry level career certificate at the same time. In this new program provided by the bookmobile, qualified and successful student applicants will receive one free full tuition scholarship from the library.  Visit and click on "Get Started."
