One Man, One Wolf, A Lifetime of Wildlife Conservation
Why You Should Invite Ernest Thompson Seton into Your Library

Before Wendell Berry or Edward Abbey, the writings of Ernest Thompson Seton galvanized a nation into looking at nature in a different, protective way. An exhibit at the New Mexico History Museum, Wild at Heart: Ernest Thompson Seton, has sparked new interest in Seton’s writings, artwork and support of the outdoor-education programs that gave birth to the Boy Scouts. Curated by New Mexico art historian David L. Witt, Curator of the Seton Legacy Project for the Academy for the Love of Learning in Santa Fe, Wild at Heart marks the first major exhibition about Seton.

Seton’s writings, artwork and the arc of his life have earned an international audience. We invite you to join “the wolf pack” and learn more about this remarkable person and his ties to New Mexico.
